Japan of the Heart

Sometimes I find it impossible to frame words around my impressions of Japan.  This string of islands in the North Pacific captures me and yet rejects me.  In an instant it intrigues and overwhelms.  I have finally become comfortable with the fact that this life we have lived is simply that - life.

Though it seems that others, like Brad Kremer, are talented enough to truly capture this land.  This stumbled across my Google Reader (via Pink Tenticle) and I felt compelled to not only share - but reblog.  It captured my heart.

The footage was shot in Tokyo, Matsuyama, Imabari, Nagano, Gifu, and Mt. Ishizuchi during the summer of 2009.  I hope you enjoy!
